At the Basset Hound Club
of Victoria, Australia our members are the driving force behind the
success of the Club and we always welcome new members.
Our calendar year features the Club Championship
and Open shows, this is a great time to see lots of
Bassets, meetings to discuss the well-being of the breed
and the Club, Dutch auctions, the ever popular Basset
Walks, the Christmas Picnic and through it all we have
all made some close friends in the process.
If you wish to join the club you can download a membership form

the picture to see photos of the Basset Christmas Party and Basset Artwork done at Wilson Park Berwick. What a good day was had by all who attended the Christmas Breakup. The weather was perfect after worrying all week that the forecast was for rain. Good fun was our "sketch your Basset" contest which was won by Wendy Boce. Thanks to everyone for their contribution to our hamper. Another thank you to Joan Bannister for her donation of the prize for "guess how many dry food pieces were packed in a container" which was won by Shirley's clever guessing. Our chef Kevin who cooked the sausages and Jodie who supplied the lovely cake. Thank you. Our biggest thank you to Anne who really helps to make the day with all the prizes for the raffle, she bakes and does up so beautifully. Plus she also makes lots of delicious goodies for everyone to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed myself even though I forgot which way the walk went. Somebody left their thermos behind so if you get in touch with me I will endevour to bring it to the next walk at Berwick. Joan Murphy - 9762.3887 .
